Federation Homes was established in 1982, and is sponsored by the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford with funds provided by the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Federation Homes provides housing for older adults (62+) and individuals with disabilities.  The average tenant age is 76. It consists of 95 one bedroom and 5 two bedroom apartments.

The mission of Federation Homes is to provide a safe, secure and supportive home; to promote independence; to offer a diverse educational, cultural, and social activities and programs to enhance quality of life for residents, and to support their desire to remain in the community for as long as possible.
